The NHS Zero Tolerance Campaign has been developed to reassure staff that violence and intimidation is unacceptable and there is a commitment to stamping it out.

We have a policy which provides guidance to minimise risks of violence and intimidation within our surgeries. If staff are subjected to such behaviour the doctors will withdraw their services to that patient and will use the Criminal Justice System to ensure other surgeries are aware of the patient’s behaviour.
